近日，随着埃塞俄比亚驻华大使塔费拉·德贝·伊马姆阁下即将任满离京、回国履新，中国城市发展联盟海外联合发展工作委员会（以下简称“中城海合会”）主任黄兆锦先生专程拜会塔费拉大使，致以诚挚的辞别与祝福。双方深情回顾了在华期间携手推动中埃塞经贸合作与文化交流的累累硕果，共同表达了无论身在何处，都将兄弟同心、风雨同舟，继续为深化中埃塞全天候战略伙伴关系贡献力量的坚定意愿。

回顾合作历程：从十堰汽车到重庆咖啡，务实成果丰硕
在会谈中，黄兆锦主任对塔费拉大使在任期间给予中城海合会及中国企业的关心与支持表示衷心感谢。他强调，大使阁下是中国人民的老朋友、好朋友，在其任内，中城海合会与大使馆紧密协作，促成了多项具有里程碑意义的合作。

黄兆锦主任特别提及，双方在湖北省十堰市的汽车产业合作中倾注了大量心血。早在2025年2月，塔费拉大使一行便访问了十堰，重点考察了当地新能源卡车及重型卡车产业，并明确表示埃塞俄比亚的基建需求与十堰的汽车技术优势高度契合。此后，双方持续推动这一领域的深度对接，致力于将“十堰制造”的优质车辆引入埃塞俄比亚市场，为当地基础设施建设与物流运输提供有力支持。

随后，黄兆锦主任回顾了双方在重庆沙坪坝区打造合作高地的光辉历程。2026年1月10日，在塔费拉大使与黄兆锦主任的共同见证下，“中国·埃塞俄比亚文化旅游商务中心”在重庆沙坪坝区正式揭牌，标志着中埃塞地方经贸合作迈入机制化、平台化的新阶段。次日（1月11日），作为系列合作的重要延伸，“埃塞俄比亚咖啡国家推广体验中心”在沙坪坝磁器口古镇惊艳亮相。该中心由埃塞俄比亚驻华大使馆授权，集精品展示、消费体验、贸易洽谈于一体，不仅让“埃塞咖啡香飘华夏”成为现实，更成为连接中埃文化与商贸的双向窗口。

展望未来：兄弟同心，风雨同舟
塔费拉大使在辞别之际，对黄兆锦主任及中城海合会长期以来的卓越组织力与务实推动力给予了高度评价。他指出，中城海合会作为中非合作的重要桥梁，不仅促成了重庆与埃塞在文旅、咖啡领域的快速结缘，也为十堰汽车等中国优势产能走向非洲铺平了道路。这些合作成果不仅是双边经贸往来的典范，更是中埃人民深厚情谊的生动体现。

黄兆锦主任表示，离别是为了更好地相逢，无论塔费拉大使履新何处，中城海合会都将珍视这份在一次次考察、一场场洽谈、一个个项目中结下的“异父异母”般的兄弟情谊。他指出，中城海合会将以此为新起点，继续发挥平台优势，巩固重庆商务中心与咖啡体验中心的运营成果，深化十堰汽车等产业对接，持续为中埃塞企业提供精准服务。“无论身在何处，我们兄弟同心，中埃塞友谊与合作，我们永远风雨同舟！”
此次拜会在依依惜别的氛围中圆满结束。双方一致认为，在两国领导人的战略引领下，在双方有识之士的共同努力下，中埃塞合作必将如埃塞咖啡般醇香悠远，行稳致远，为共筑新时代中非命运共同体增添新的光彩。

Cherishing the Journey of Shiyan Automobile and Chongqing Platform Cooperation, and Renewing the Brotherhood Forged Through Thick and Thin
Recently, as H.E. Ambassador Tefera Derbew Yimam of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to China is set to complete his diplomatic tenure in Beijing and assume new responsibilities back home, Mr. Huang Zhaojin, Director of the Overseas Joint Development Working Committee of the China City Development Alliance ("CCDA Overseas Committee"), paid a special visit to Ambassador Tefera to extend his sincere farewell and best wishes. The two sides fondly reviewed the fruitful outcomes achieved in promoting China-Ethiopia economic, trade, and cultural cooperation during the Ambassador's tenure in China, and jointly expressed their unwavering commitment to deepening the China-Ethiopia all-weather strategic partnership—wherever they may be—with brotherly solidarity and shared resolve.
Retrospect on Cooperation: From Shiyan Automobiles to Chongqing Coffee, Tangible Outcomes Abound
During the meeting, Director Huang Zhaojin expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ambassador Tefera for his care and support for the CCDA Overseas Committee and Chinese enterprises throughout his term. He emphasized that the Ambassador is an old and dear friend of the Chinese people, and that under his watch, the CCDA Overseas Committee and the Embassy worked closely to facilitate a number of milestone cooperation projects.
Director Huang especially highlighted the significant efforts both sides had invested in the automotive industry cooperation in Shiyan, Hubei Province. As early as February 2025, Ambassador Tefera and his delegation visited Shiyan, with a focus on inspecting the local new energy truck and heavy-duty truck sectors, explicitly noting the strong alignment between Ethiopia's infrastructure needs and Shiyan's automotive technological strengths. Subsequently, both sides continued to push for deeper engagement in this field, aiming to introduce high-quality "Made in Shiyan" vehicles into the Ethiopian market to bolster local infrastructure development and logistics transportation.
Director Huang then reviewed the illustrious journey of building a cooperation hub in Chongqing's Shapingba District. On January 10, 2026, witnessed by Ambassador Tefera and Director Huang, the "China-Ethiopia Cultural Tourism and Business Center" was officially inaugurated in Shapingba, marking a new phase of institutionalized and platform-driven sub-national economic and trade cooperation between China and Ethiopia. The very next day (January 11), as a key extension of the collaborative framework, the "Ethiopian Coffee National Promotion & Experience Center" made its stunning debut at Ciqikou Ancient Town in Shapingba. Authorized by the Ethiopian Embassy in China, the Center integrates premium product display, consumer experience, and trade negotiation—not only bringing the aroma of Ethiopian coffee to every corner of China but also serving as a two-way window bridging Ethiopian culture and commerce with China.
Looking Ahead: United as Brothers, Through Thick and Thin
On the occasion of his farewell, Ambassador Tefera spoke highly of Director Huang Zhaojin and the CCDA Overseas Committee for their longstanding excellence in organization and pragmatic drive. He noted that the CCDA Overseas Committee, as a vital bridge for China-Africa cooperation, has not only facilitated the swift bond between Chongqing and Ethiopia in cultural tourism and coffee but also paved the way for competitive Chinese industrial capacities—such as Shiyan's automotive sector—to enter the African market. These cooperative achievements, he added, are not only models of bilateral economic and trade engagement but also vivid testimonies to the profound friendship between the Chinese and Ethiopian peoples.
Director Huang Zhaojin remarked that farewells are but preludes to re-encounters, and that wherever Ambassador Tefera may assume his new post, the CCDA Overseas Committee will forever treasure the "brotherhood deeper than blood" forged through countless site visits, negotiations, and projects. He emphasized that the CCDA Overseas Committee will take this moment as a new starting point to continue leveraging its platform strengths, consolidate the operations of the Chongqing Business Center and Coffee Experience Center, deepen industrial matchmaking in areas like Shiyan's automobile sector, and consistently provide targeted services for Chinese and Ethiopian enterprises. "Wherever we may be, we stand together as brothers. The friendship and cooperation between China and Ethiopia—we shall always share weal and woe."
The farewell meeting concluded in a warm and memorable atmosphere. Both sides agreed that under the strategic guidance of the two countries' leaders and with the concerted efforts of visionary individuals on both sides, China-Ethiopia cooperation will—like Ethiopian coffee—grow ever richer and more enduring, advancing steadily and adding new luster to the shared endeavor of building a China-Africa community with a shared future in the new era.
